Blog Post #1- Top 5 News Sources

 1. CNN News

I watch CNN News Room every morning and check constantly throughout the day. I keep up with CNN to learn about events that are occurring in America. I enjoy watching CNN because I like the news anchors and their in-depth coverage of current events. CNN has different shows that cover a wide range of topics with news anchors and guest specialists.

2. Twitter

Although it is a social media platform Twitter has proven to be a fast way to spread breaking news or important information. On Twitter, they have a section called "trending" which shows you all the trending news stories. Twitter is easily accessible and I can create post notifications on certain topics, so I am updated right away. I use Twitter to keep me aware of what is trending, but I research the stories to fact-check them.

3. ABC News

ABC is another reliable news source. Compared to other news channels I like to go to the ABC website to see positive stories. They have certain sections that post stories of real-life people and they are usually about someone overcoming adversity. I go to ABC when I am looking to read a different topic than I have seen on all other news outlets.

4. E-News Online

Compared to the news sources I have previously mentioned E-News is unconventional. E-News is an outlet that focuses on the latest stories in pop culture. They focus on celebrities and all things in the entertainment industry. E-News is more of a credible source when it comes to current events in the entertainment industry.

5. US News & World Report

My main focus with news is events happening in the United States, but I do keep track of events that are happening around the world. I believe it is important to be aware of what is happening around the world and how those events can still affect you. Us News and World Report is a dependable source to know what is happening in other countries.
